Finally! I’m on Twitter…Follow Me.
Written by Pablo Palatnik on March 11, 2008
So, after ALL the buzz and actually, this is a site where the buzz about it keeps increasing, I decided to join Twitter. Many online marketers are on Twitter, well, I think now people actually like it but many have joined it to see how they could “game it” and see how it could work towards our benefit or the benefit of clients.
I see why it could work towards generating traffic and buzz now. People can know what you’re doing and can actually see your interactions with others. It seems like a great tool for big companies to keep close interaction with their followers, or even better yet, seems like a VERY powerful tool for bloggers.
Barak Obama has a Twitter account, what a smart move.
Hit me up on Twitter HERE or leave me a comment with your twitter address. If I can figure something cool on it (game it =) somehow) I’ll let you know.

People Are Getting Dumber Online: Craigslist Murder Ad
Written by Pablo Palatnik on January 27, 2008
Just when you thought someone couldn’t be that stupid, they go ahead and surprise you. So, the latest news yesterday is a woman posted a murder-for-hire ad on craigslist. OK, how stupid do you have to be when you plan for something like that?
This lady wanted to murder her lovers’ wife and offered $5,000.00 for the plot. What is more disturbing is I THINK someone may have responded to the ad but either way, come on…I can’t believe this story.
“…goes by the name Ann Marie Linscott, allegedly placed ads on craigslist under the heading “Freelance” and provided no further information. Those responding were asked to “eradicate a female living in Oroville, California” and provided information about the target, including a physical description.â€
Now, although of course this doesn’t really look good or bad on Craigslist since almost everyone has heard of the site and although sometimes seen as controversial (escort services, murders) it’s still one of the most popular sites in the world. This is an example that you can post almost ANYTHING.
We’ll see how Craigslist handles this although you don’t see much PR from them.

Do What You Love & You’ll Be Successful
Written by Pablo Palatnik on January 10, 2008
OK, this may be a cliché. It sounds like the easiest thing to some while at the same time very hard to achieve. Why? Responsibilities such as a mortgage or family, or just simply no motivation.
Now, I’m sure 90% or more is because there are responsibilities in your life which don’t allow you to do or focus on what you love to do. That’s too bad, but if you make that extra sacrifice (i.e. taking a pay cut to work doing something you enjoy or love) you can pay huge dividends in the long-term.
There is one thing all successful people have in common, ONE major component across the board which led them to great success. THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO. If you don’t go to work (either for yourself or an employee) motivated and ready to kick ass and take names, you can put success in the backseat for now. Some will be lucky but most won’t.
I’m not the biggest Donald Trump fan, but if there is always one piece of advice he gives, “do what you love.†Some people wake up every morning dreading to go to work…what are you doing? Get active and look for something else.
Be inspired by what you do. Take pride in your work but be humble at the same time. No matter what, success…failures…you can never stop trying.
Some Tips For Success By Dicky Fox (Agent from the movie Jerry McGuire):
-If you don’t love everybody, you can’t sell anybody.
-The key to this business is personal relationships.
-Roll with the punches. Tomorrow is another day.
-I love getting up in the morning. I clap my hands and say, ‘This is gonna be a great day.

Good content = visitors. Visitors = advertising. Advertising = money. Great content = a lot of visitors. A lot of visitors = Big advertising.
“Paramount Pictures, MTV and Blockbuster have partnered to distribute the latest feature length film from the daredevil reality franchise in an ad-supported environment,†reports ClickZ.

ClickZ also reports, “From December 19th through the 31st, the film will be distributed by movie rental firm Blockbuster’s Movielink service as a streaming video over Microsoft’s Silverlight media player. The movie won’t be directly available from Blockbuster, but instead will be distributed by the movie’s own site at blockbuster.jackassworld.com. As co-sponsor, Blockbuster will manage advertising for initial distribution of the film.
Blockbuster will also sell pre- and post-roll video advertising, and has signed on Clearspring to manage its inventory. Additionally, interactive marketing firm Deep Focus will support the release, according to CEO Ian Schafer.â€
