Online marketing can consist of many things and components to put the right online marketing strategy together. Not only do you have to have the know-how but you also need to have the right tools to do the job. The tools part you’ll need to search yourself, read reviews on certain products and so fourth.

There is a difference between online marketing for e-Commerce and online marketing for service oriented businesses. Both have different channels as to where you can get exposure but both also have similarities as to where it is most important to get exposure.

ARE YOU DOING SEO? Yes or No?

Search engine optimization or SEO, is key and essential to any online business to really improve your bottom line. While the conception of SEO is that it is free traffic, to the contrary of what many business owners believe, it is quite expensive to rank for competitive keywords as it will take resources such as hire help (if not in-house or even if in-house you should hire a professional SEO for competitive keywords,) using the right tools for the job and so on. SEO can literally make your business overnight if you rank for the keyword that can bring qualified significant traffic to your website.

ARE YOU DOING PPC? Yes or No?

Pay-Per-Click or PPC marketing (also considered search engine marketing) is bidding on keywords to appear on the sponsored search of the search engines. While this can be both very expensive or very affordable (depending on the niche and how competitive it is) it is a great way to set your online business off for instant traffic. PPC is used by millions of businesses to drive traffic and generate sales/leads and in this particular process, a LANDING PAGE which has to be crafted in order to get the visitor to actually convert the action you need (a sale or generate a lead) must be optimized as much as possible. Google Adwords is currently the largest PPC network in the world giving your ads exposure to the Google search engine and all of its publishers which is in the MILLIONS.

ARE YOU DOING SOCIAL MEDIA? Yes or No?

Social Media Marketing has been king to many businesses are there has never been a channel where marketers have been so excited about in YEARS. Social media allows your business to directly connect with consumers in channels such as Facebook and Twitter. The social media component of your online marketing campaign can really vary and the landscape of social media has become so vast that this is something you can’t just do in one day or put an immediate strategy. You can start immediately though by:

A) Creating a Facebook Fan page for your business.
B) Creating a Twitter page to reach out to fans.

You should always link these channels on your website so visitors know your business is on FB and Twitter and can follow you.

ARE YOU USING VIDEO MARKETING? Yes or No?

Video marketing may still be under-used by many businesses as YouTube drives millions of users each day to watch videos on anything and everything! You can be surprised at the activity of what videos you upload can have. Some video hubs are:

-YouTube
-MetaCafe
-Vimeo

ARE YOU USING SHOPPING COMPARISON ENGINES?

Shopping comparison engines can be a great online marketing channel for internet retailers. There are some large ones that command good traffic and really boost your sales. These are typically used on a Pay-Per-Click basis. Some you should consider are:

-NexTag
-BizRate
-Shopzilla
-PriceGrabber
-Google Base (free)
-Bing Shopping (free)
-Shopping.com

ARE YOU USING AUCTION/SHOPPING WEBSITES? Yes or No?

To push more products, you don’t always have to keep pushing or marketing your website although I do consider that to the best possible place to spend your money and resources to grow your brand. Nevertheless, there are sites that can really push your business and sales to the next level, these are:

-eBay
-Amazon
-Overstock.com

I was reading Inc.com and came across an interesting user Q&A thread titled, “where are your ad dollars better spent: Google or Facebook?”

It’s interesting because that is something I think many small to medium size businesses who do have an online marketing budget are trying to decide now. Search or social? I think everyone will agree a solid online marketing strategy these days includes both. Actually, if you’re not involved in both somehow at this point, you’re already behind your competition.

In this thread, some of the readers make some good arguments. I think both channels are very different and should be looked at in that matter, as different methods of marketing. If you want better conversions, I think search is still king. A search engine provides users for what they want by keywords. Facebook advertising is serving up ads of ‘interest’ to users that aren’t actively searching. Nevertheless, Facebook in time will develop into a platform where users will search, if Facebook gets it right. Maybe soon enough Facebook may also serve on a keyword search marketing basis.

-“According to the website a2sm.com, there are advantages and disadvantages to advertising with Face book. Some of the disadvantages are that users are not looking for a product or service when visiting the site, focus of users is not on ads, businesses cannot target ads properly because of the users purchasing cycle. However, the advantages are that advertising can be targets to specific markets, businesses can set up Fan Pages for free, provides communication with current and potential customers, news feed can spread ino on business…Taking this into consideration, it would probably depend on your goal in advertising and what you are advertising to decide whether to go with Facebook or Google.”

-“Adwords are not the answer they once were. I recently spoke with a company that used to spend $100,000 a month on Adwords but the bidding drove the price above the level of profitability. You must also be very careful in choosing your words. Invest in software that will give you some insight before buying words. For example, I teach business classes. When I tested the words “business classes” I found that the term is one of the most popular search terms for airline tickets. So I would have wasted my money using that term. With Facebook, you can somewhat control your target market. Google will put you where they think you belong but you can seek out your target market and quickly build a following of like minded people who will spread the word, IF, and it’s a big IF, you provide followers with information, tips and information they not only find useful but will also share with others. If you are constantly in sell mode Facebook will probably not work very well for you.”

Again, these channels should be looked at very differently when deciding where your ad dollars would be better invested.

The most famous saying in search engine optimization is…CONTENT IS KING. And, for the most part…it really is. Content, alongside link building, can really go a long way when it comes to optimizing for search engines. Even optimizing for product conversion on product pages.

Although content is king for SEO, content is really king for everything. The way you’re going to dominate your niche is by distributing content all over the place. You don’t necessarily have to have the BEST content, but you have to have LOTS of content. You want to dominate your niche, don’t you? That’s just how you do it.

Content can mean everything for your online business.

Make sure you have the following in place as you build your online empire:

> Large website containing LOTS and LOTS of CONTENT.
> Blog
> Videos (YouTube, MetaCafe, etc.)
> Image Distribution (always save images with keywords)
> Article Distribution
> Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter)

The more content you put out, the more traffic you will bring in to your website. Put aside SEO for a minute. Create content for your visitors and create as much as you possibly can for your niche.

Google itself has a good amount of information and ideas you can gather for your PPC or SEO. Just by looking at some quick factors from the search results (if you expand the search results which im sure over 90% of people don’t) many ideas can be gathered.

Always start expanding your search query by clicking links on the left hand side of the search results where you will see a few options.

On top- related searches- you can see a bunch of good related keywords for your query which can REALLY REALLY help the keyword research process. You can say the same about Googles Wonderwheel which you wil also see that link on the left hand side.

Click on PAGE PREVIEWS and you’ll see images of the website and it also expands the description which you can see moreless the content of the site in a nutshell which can help you see what keywords it’s optimized for, an idea of kw density and more.

Mess around with the search results and you’ll be surprised how many ideas you can get for online marketing.

While many of us in the online marketing field work day-in and day-out on our own online marketing strategies and those for our clients, It’s never been more important to have an integrated online marketing strategy as the scope for branding is so large now that you have to be on top of all these social portals to keep hammering your brand which is what eventually will give you long-term business success and a loyal customer or user-base.

Let’s face it, when planning out a real marketing strategy for your business, specially online, you have to have your short-term strategy and goals, and your long-term strategy and goals. Short-term is always aimed at quick traffic and conversions, long-term is more based on branding, user base, etc. Us online marketers deal with different channels on a daily basis such as promoting our businesses through Pay-Per-Click (Google, Yahoo, MSN) or SEO (Google, Yahoo, MSN) or Facebook, Myspace, YouTube, Twitter, etc. You may think every business is doing this, but that’s not the case, and if you ARE already doing this, and you’re ahead and if possible, you should push these channels even more and integrate them as much as possible.

The idea for this post came from an article today posted on MediaPost by Kaila Colbin titled, “Why An Integrated Strategy Will Always Outperform.”

“…My friend Richard Cardran is one of those people whose insights are like a mini-MBA every few minutes. Twitter’s fine, says Richard, as is Facebook, YouTube, and all the rest of them. Where they really start to get exciting, though, is where you interconnect everything, where you start to leverage the network effects made possible by having access to so many different channels for relatively little cost.

This is a concept I hammer again and again with my social media clients. Forget about just trying to drive traffic to the destination site. We need to reframe our definition of success, so that instead of a destination site we have an online brand ecosystem, and wherever a customer or potential customer comes into contact with our brand, they’re treated to the totality of the brand experience.

And just as the social media foundation paved the way for the traditional media coverage, and just as the results of the traditional media coverage were then embraced and supported by the social media infrastructure, search is supported by all your other marketing activities.”

I was reading the comments on this article which I really suggest you reading the entire piece, and a very interesting comment by a user:

“It’s great to see that you SM and SEO gangs are coming to see what we brand marketers have been saying for a long time. Multiple media, used correctly, will outperform any single media every time. Jay Levinson (the guy who invented the Marlboro man) has said for years that it takes 9-12 touches before anyone will act on your behalf; and that any one particular target market member might see 1/3 of your outreach attempts. So, the math is easy (even for us marketers!); it takes 27-36 outreaches before you touch anyone 9-12 times. Doing over multiple channels works better, IF the touches are branded strongly enough that each one is recognizable as coming from the advertiser–poorly branded touches don’t count. Now the the fan frenzy over SEM and SM seems to be dying down, we’ll see that these are simply new channels to be added to the other marketing tools in the toolkit; each tool has its appropriate uses, benefits, values, proper uses, etc.”

I think that comment is right on point. ALTHOUGH, I DISAGREE with SEM dying down, I don’t see that as the case, but we do see more attention toward other areas such as conversion marketing, affiliate marketing, etc.

People are always asking for ideas or what they can do from home. Most, think its impossible to start something online because of the amount of competition out there or the fact that they don’t have any real solid ideas. Many are also SCARED because starting a business cost money (whether its a little bit) and think they can easily fail.
Here are 5 online start-ups that have been growing and no reason you cant do the same!

>><font color="#4C787E"WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS TOPIC? COMMENT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST<<

1) Internet Marketing –– Jason Sadler, IWearYourShirt.com
So you’ve got a ton of friends on Facebook and a loyal Twitter following. Why not profit off them? Jason Sadler has found a way to capitalize on all the hype surrounding social media marketing. Three-hundred sixty-five days a year, Sadler serves as a live billboard for companies and charities on all the major social media sites. Sadler, who launched IWearYourShirt.com at the end of 2008, wears a shirt a day, and sells each calendar day according to its numerical value. On February 10, for example, a company would pay Sadler $10 to wear its shirt. He works from his home in Jacksonville, Florida, and leverages his social media following by blogging, tweeting, filming a live video show, and updating his Facebook photo, all while wearing the designated T-shirt of the day. And, yes, he will still wear your shirt to a wedding, or even if he’s sick in bed. Now that the idea has taken off, Sadler has hired a West Coast counterpart — with a whole new following — to expand the company’s marketing reach.
2) Online Advice –– Amanda Steinberg, DailyWorth.com
In the past decade, the Web has become the go-to place for consumers to seek out advice and scope out the newest trends and deals. Sites like DailyCandy and Thrillist have been successful at monetizing this online community by publishing daily e-mail newsletters packed with exclusive information for subscribers. After operating Soapbxx, a Web consultancy, for 10 years (the past four of which have been home-based), Amanda Steinberg launched a second business from home last January to provide personal financial advice to women. Building off of the DailyCandy model, Steinberg’s DailyWorth publishes daily e-mail newsletters with tips and advice from financial experts, including MP Dunleavey, a former finance columnist for The New York Times. With 9,000 subscribers and counting, Steinberg simultaneously runs her start-up and Soapbxx from her home in Mount Airy, Pennsylvania, while playing mom to two young kids.

3) Insurance –– Chris Jordan, AtlantaInsuranceLive.com
Insurance may not be the most exciting field, but opportunities abound for businesses owners willing to break away from the traditional corporate model and add their own spin. That’s exactly what Chris Jordan did last March when he left his corporate insurance sales job and founded Atlanta Insurance Live, a home-based sole proprietorship that is built on the premise of interacting with clients virtually. Jordan maintains a video blog about insurance issues and chats live with customers through his website. He employs a casual style and remains transparent about his home-based status — as a new way to market his business and dispel the stigma of stuffy insurance agents in suits and ties, in order to attract a younger demographic. So far, it seems to be working, with a steadily growing customer base.

4) Personal Fitness –– Franklin Antoian, IBodyFit.com
As a personal trainer who held private sessions in people’s homes for many years, Franklin Antoian discovered a growing trend of people who didn’t want to trek to the gym. In 2006, he launched IBodyFit.com, a site that allows anyone to get the complete personal training experience online. Through the website, members get individualized attention from a personal trainer and have the ability to access online fitness classes and exercise videos. Trainers create customized workouts for clients and are fully available to them via phone, e-mail, and IM. Members can work out on their own time at home, or download their custom workouts to their iPod at a cost much lower than the average gym membership, which is an increasingly expendable luxury in a down economy. In 2009 alone, Antonian, who is based in Del Rey Beach, Florida, signed up 2,000 new members.

Online Content Aggregation –– Michael Sitarzewski, Callisto.fm
With so much content consumed on the Web these days, the door has opened for entrepreneurs who have found ways to not only catalogue some it, but to make it easier for users to consume the information. While plenty of sites existed for streaming TV shows, Michael Sitarzewski realized that there wasn’t anything comparable for listening to podcasts. So in 2008, at a podcaster conference, he pitched his idea for a site that would stream podcasts and organize all the content by channels, giving visitors a place to consume podcasts all in one place. Immediately, he had interest from developers, and within months, Callisto.fm was launched. The site now has 4,500 shows listed and operates primarily through ad revenue. Sitarzewski, who works from home and in places all over his hometown of Boulder, also runs Hypersites, another company he founded in 2001 that serves as a website development application for designers.

An interesting post at eConsultancy regarding how companies generate and buy their leads. Lead generation is a huge industry, especially online. Companies in the sectors of life insurance, health insurance, insurance in general, mortgage, debt, and so fourth generate leads online but also buy from 3rd party companies. Is it affordable and worth for them to purchase leads through PPC campaigns (paid search) or go through 3rd party companies to or BOTH? Can a strategy of paid search and buying leads co-exist?

"As online lead generation starts to establish itself as a separate discipline in online marketing and an increasing number of advertisers start to see the benefits of paying for leads on a CPL basis, marketers will have to start making some decisions to allocate sufficient budgets to their online lead generation campaigns.

So, this is crunch time for us online marketers and online retailers. This is where we have to really step up and be on our A-game. Black Friday as well as Cyber Monday are the biggest shopping days of the year, supposedly. Nevertheless, we have to really consider these dates and really prepare well for them.

On the online marketing front for Cyber Monday and Black Friday here are a few things you can do:

* Make sure your paid search ads are in tune with the date of sale. Meaning, on Black Friday, make sure your ad signals the searcher that your business is well aware of the date and doing a promotion for it. People sleep outside of Best Buy on Thursday night, why? Because they know Friday is where it’s at!

* If you do display advertising, make sure your banners, like your paid search text ads, have Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads.

* Include coupon codes in your ads to increase CTR on your ads.

* This next tip may be a little Risky but for SEO reasons, with a very authoritative domain name, you can change the Title Tag and Description Tag to have BLACK FRIDAY and CYBER MONDAY text which can help you rank for those keywords on those dates.

* Make sure you’re watching your paid search closely as bidding can be at full activity as competitors try to fight for the most traffic and market share.

* Send out 1 or 2 newsletters on these days to spike up your traffic given you have a decent email list to send to.

On the ecommerce side of things, here are some things you can do to optimize for Black Friday and Cyber Monday:

* Make sure your website is Black Friday and Cyber Monday ready! Let your logo or page design display these keywords that buyers look for letting them know it is a sale for THAT day.

* Look at your competition on that day and make sure you’re up-to-par with their sales. If there are any days to be very competitive, its here. These dates can bring good sales volume, your margins can be a bit lower.

* Create coupons for each of these dates to have better measurement of which has worked best.

* Given you have a spike in traffic during these days, make sure you try and gather as much data as possible from your visitors (email addresses) to send out newsletter to make them not only a buyer, but a customer.

Using web tools whether you’re working on SEO or PPC is just as important as a mechanic using the right tools to fix your car, or a dentist having the right tools to fix your mouth. At the beginning, I always used to work “blindly” and never relied much on tools but maybe some free keyword tools to get some ideas to build ppc campaigns on. As you get deeper into a project (campaign) or have a project you’ve been working on for a while, you’ll see how far tools can take you.

I was given a month free to use of SEMRush, a keyword tool that “…was designed by the developers of SeoDigger and SeoQuake to satisfy your needs in advanced SEM and keywords research. We analyze 40 million keywords for 20 million domains. 21 000 users registered.”

There is one thing that you’ll learn real quick as you get into building pay-per-click campaigns and that is observe and study the competition. While you’re there trying to figure out what words work best, how to write a compelling ad, what words to build on, your competition has been doing that for longer than you have! Remember, they have gone through the same process you are going through now and trying to figure out, what keywords to use for the best return on investment, what ads will get the best click-through-rate, which ads may have the best conversions, etc.

SEMRush is a tool that lets you do just that, study the competition and get an edge. My strategy is and was never to COPY the competition but build around keywords they use, get ideas, etc.

Some key features that will really help you optimize your campaign using SEMRush are:

    * Identify Competitors – By searching for your keyword phrase on SEM Rush, you can pinpoint competing websites that are already ranking highly in Google for your intended keywords, and as a side benefit, you can identify other potentially profitable keywords of each of your potential competitors.

    * Ad / Traffic Buyer Suggestions – When you research a website, SEM Rush will display related websites that are advertising via Google Adwords, which, this can give you an inroad to potential advertisers, who are proven buyers, for your website.

    * Adwords Ad Overview – If a particular website that you are researching, namely, a competitor, is advertising via Google Adwords, SEM Rush will show you your competitors’ ads, and their landing pages within their simple-to-use interface.

    * Side-By-Side Competitor Comparison – You can analyze your domain vs. your competitors’ domain name, alongside your common keywords, your rank in Google, their rank in Google, estimated monthly search volume for the keyword, number of competing pages for the keyword, and the estimated cost per click in Google Adwords.

    * Data Exports – Like most keyword tools, SEM Rush offers a few choices when it comes to exporting your research data. However, because this service is so unique in the type of information it provides, we wanted to mention this as it is a major asset for you, regardless of whether you’re a paid or free user.

The way I used it best was always to look at my top competitors in the PPC space. From this, I can go one by one and look at keywords they are bidding, keywords they are ranking for organically, and looking at their ads. A GREAT strategy that I don’t have much search marketers talk about but is great for me is really digging into the websites organic rankings and building of that.

Google ranks many website for specific products and these are great, long-tail keywords, that may have a real chip bidding price and although may deliver very low volume traffic, can deliver a high conversion rate!

I hear all the time, and read on forums, people who start blogs and go for about 6 months to a year, after that time, some bloggers (or websites for that matter) get stagnant on traffic. Although new content is being created, traffic from older post just fall off.

Here are some ways to increase traffic to your blog:

1- Sign up to forums in your niche. Link out to your post if the thread is relevant and engage users. YOUR READERS are the people in the forums looking for information you may have already written about that they can use.

2- You can use Pay-Per-Click as a channel to drive more traffic. Choose the most affordable keywords and create large ad groups bidding very low for relevant keywords. This will surely increase your traffic. You may pay at first but long-term results can be well worth it.

3- Offer something for FREE. Offering something such as a free EBOOK can increase traffic because either readers will share it with others or other bloggers will link to the page driving traffic. Make sure to include your blogs URL anywhere you offer something free.

4- Write guest post in blogs similar to your niche. THIS DOES WORK. Reach out to the bigger blogs in your niche and ask to write a guest post. They will be happy to add more good relevant content so why not? Also a good network resource.

5- You can always find something worth while about your blog everyone should know. There are plenty of free PRESS RELEASE websites out there that allow you to place a link to your blog.

6- Article marketing is still a good way to drive traffic. It may not be the best SEO resource, but if you write quality content and place a link back to your blog, it will surely make a difference. Submit your articles to websites such as eZine.

7- Twitter has been a great channel as a traffic driver. Place a link to good post from your blogs and try to get as many followers as possible. Remember to add twitter buttons to ALL your post.

8- Social bookmarking websites is still a MAJOR source of traffic and can not only help you with link building but driving traffic. Submit your post to pages such as DIGG.com, PROPELLER.com, and others. You can find good list online for these.

9- Create and Submit RSS Feeds. Feeds can always be a good source of traffic. Submit your blogs RSS feeds to all the blog rss feed directories you can. If you find some with good PR, even better.

10- Comment on other related blog post and IF POSSIBLE AND REALTED, place a link to a related story you wrote.

Creating and writing good content has always been the KEY to SEO. Regardless of how many good outbound links you have, how you structure your on-site page optimization, what will optimize well in the engines and for the end-user (the consumer) is the content you provide.

Though for PPC we still believe clear, simple, straight to the point landing pages pave the way toward higher conversions, content is also very important. Unless its an impluse buy or sign-up, consumers do like and WANT to be informed. Marketers realize this.

“Many ads are aimed at interrupting a consumer to get them to pay attention to the ad, but this approach has proven less effective on the Web, as consumers often come online to pursue an interest or perform a task, such as finding a local restaurant or booking an airline ticket. To address this, many advertisers are moving away from interruption toward helping consumers accomplish their tasks by offering commercial messages that are useful, helpful and relevant.

Hear more on this strategy from Jim Lecinski, Managing Director, U.S. Sales, and think about incorporating this idea into your 2010 planning:

If you are in the business of online retail and ship to other countries than the United States, you know the variables that go into customers abroad. Shipping methods, etc, one big key element of that difference between a domestic and international customer is language.

Sure, if you have a website right now with customers from all over the world, you are selling to these customers such as in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Brazil, etc. The question if you should be asking yourself is if they understand the website better, meaning if it was in their native language, would I have better conversions? Would this customer that speaks much better, let’s say Portuguese, feel more comfortable if my site was in their language?

Many companies do seek a translation company to translate their website and build a whole new page with their page in secondary languages. Google has just released a widget that can make this way easier to the customer. In the click of a buttom, this widget will turn the website to the language of your choice.

Google tells all about this widget in their new blog post, as they state, “Today, we’re happy to announce a new website translator gadget powered by Google Translate that enables you to make your site’s content available in 51 languages. Now, when people visit your page, if their language (as determined by their browser settings) is different than the language of your page, they’ll be prompted to automatically translate the page into their own language. If the visitor’s language is the same as the language of your page, no translation banner will appear.”

All this takes a simple piece of code to put into your website. You can find it now in the Google Website Translator.

As a tip for those of you who deal with international customers and have experienced issues in your customer service department with customers (potential and current) sending emails in other languages other than English and your customer service reps dont speak that language, try to Google Translate tool.

Since yesterday, I actually thought my resolution got all screwd up when the Google SERPs were not showing as they usually are. This morning I was on SearchEngineJournal and sure enough there’s a story about this shift.

SO, what could this possibly be? Maybe Google getting more desperate those paid search clicks for more revenue? An increase in advertiser CTR? All of the above?

As someone suggested in the post as a comment, most average users, in my opinion and experience, have NO CLUE what organic and paid search results are. Meaning, people have no clue that ads on the right or top are actually being paid for while the organic results are not.

Will there actually be an increase in CTR? I wonder if this change is really permanent or just a quick trial run Google is going for to see how user behavior changes and if they can capitalize more on their paid search.

I can’t stress this enough but making video part of your online marketing strategy is, I believe, an essential factor in your success. Think about YouTube for a minute. The amount of daily searches and videos watched is just incredible, not counting the other many video sharing websites that out there.

Video really became an essential part when Google introduced universal search to their search technology and videos began to rank, and rank well. That is why it’s so important as an SEO strategy to make sure your videos all have the right titles, tags, etc. MAKE THEM RANK. GET TRAFFIC. GET EXPOSURE.

Like I said in the beginning, just take a look at YouTubes traffic and then you can figure other traffic video sources of video sharing websites that can generate traffic to your video.

“Fully 62% of adult internet users have watched online video on a video-sharing website, a figure that has nearly doubled from 33% in 2006, according to a research report (pdf) from the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life project, which also found that 19% of online adults use video-sharing sites on a typical day (compared with 8% in 2006).

The April 2009 survey found that video watching among young adults is near-universal, with nine in 10 (89%) internet users ages 18-29 now saying they view content on video-sharing sites (up from 72% in 2008), and 36% do so on a typical day.”

Let’s take a quick example. Let’s say you repair XBOX 360s for a living and you want more exposure. Look at this video in YouTube when you type in Xbox 360 repair.

Its got 317,719 views and over 560 comments. Now, I haven’t watched it but this alone can be a great source for branding OR, you can even edit the video possibly and try to charge for advertising if you can generate a good amount of daily views!
