Google Caffine Needs More Caffine!
February 25, 2010 by Pablo Palatnik
Apparently the people at Google either fell asleep or just decided Caffine wasn’t good enough, YET. Brew that engine and let’s get going boys! We’re all patiently and anxiously awaiting for Google to roll out the new index, but of course, this takes time. Matt Cutts, when Caffine was first announced, said it would most likely be rolled out after the holidays (2009) and still haven’t seen a change.

With a client, we did notice that this change has come about only in certain data centers as rankings did change dramatically but we have noticed more and more that things are re-stabilizing which means caffine is being held back for now. Many SEOs have speculated about Caffine being rolled out now, but as SearchEngineLand.com reports, it can be months away.
“A Google spokesperson tells Search Engine Land that Caffeine is still live at only one data center, and says “we expect to roll it out to all data centers over the coming months.”
That’s a far different story than before. In early November, Google’s Matt Cutts wrote a blog post saying that “the full Caffeine roll out will happen after the holidays.” It’s now two months since the holidays, and Google is talking about Caffeine’s launch in months, not days or even weeks.”
