Can Google or Microsoft Go Against The Apple iPad?

As the iPad emerges as the new tech gadget that can change the world (as the iPod did with music,) Google and Microsoft are already on the radar thinking WHEN, not IF, to launch their product. Some photos and sites are emerging with photos and talk of the Google Tablet.
As Google and Microsoft are in a swift competition for search, although Google dominates, there is still plenty of battles to the war for tech dominance and Apple is very much involved in this one. The question, now with the release of the iPad, can Microsoft and/or Google compete?
“Even with Apple’s success with the iPhone, success with the iPad isn’t a given. The company has left a lot of openings with its first-generation product, which has clear limitations. This suggests that the iPad won’t hit its stride until its second or third generation. Despite having more resources, though, neither Google nor Microsoft has shown the ability to compete with Apple successfully in smartphones. So does that change with this new tablet?
It is interesting to note that this new tablet is more anti-PC then the traditional Mac platform is, and many think it will help redefine computing, including me. But with the PC, while Apple clearly started the wave, Apple didn’t ride it well, even in the early years. Apple initially was passed by Commodore, which later failed, suggesting its success this time is far from certain.”

hi there no google can not compete with the apple ipad but microsoft could beet apple ipad if only they let bungie release halo on all tablets from windows that would keep the millions of halo fans buying microsoft just too play halo any tiime any were it has always been about halo portability and having master chief as a main game apple also dont have mac halo or ihalo eather its all about one thing and one thing only halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo
