TheGatesNotes.com – Bill Gates Official Website Review

January 21, 2010 by Pablo Palatnik

First announced on his Twitter page, Bill Gates has launched his official website and it looks…GREAT! I, probably like many of you love to follow those who have succeeded in great lengths. I have a few business men that anything they write or say, is worth a read. One of my favorites for the past year or so has been Tony Hsieh, CEO or Zappos.com (just has really great views on how a company should be ran, specifically online.) Zappos was recently sold to Amazon for millions, $850 million to be exact!

Anyway, to get back to Mr. Bill Gates, the one and only. Bill Gates is just one of those great minds that until very recently Google came along, you can say he built the largest company in America, Microsoft. {Google is now rivaling or grew larger}

TheGatesNotes.com is awesome. It is basically Bill Gates with a big notepad (web site) sharing his thoughts, ideas, pictures, and more. What struck me the most is the very cool and innovative design to this site which is really just a great blog. The sections it has are:

-What Im Thinking About
-What Im Learning
-My Travels
-Curious Classroom
-Conversation
-Infrequently Asked Questions

Visit the TheGatesNotes.com now, very cool read.

    Hello, I hope you don’t mind me asking but is your site using wordpress and if so is it a standard theme or one you designed yourself? I like wordpress but don’t like the way that most sites look like, well – wordpress! I’d love to have a site that looks like yours! Can you reveal your secret? Thanks, S x
