Making Your Blog a Good Resource For You

I believe your blog is one of the more important elements in your website today. It truly is. Why? A few reason actually. One, it is probably the best way to add, update, and use content, mostly for Search Engine Optimization reasons. Having a blog on your website can truly help the SEO aspects by link building, social media exposure and much more. Now, if you don’t have a website and your blog IS your website, just as this blog is a site on its own, that’s just as good.
The reason I am writing this post today is because I truly realized today how important your own blog can be for you if you put information YOU think is important to your niche. IF you think the content you are writing about is important and a good resource for YOU, then chances are it will be good for A LOT of people out there.
I was searching the web for some resources regarding link building. Funny enough, I came across a forum with a thread that contained one of my links and I thought, wait a minute…I had the information i wanted in front of my face the whole time. I have complied a bunch of what I believe is good information for myself in my blog instead of just bookmarking it or writing it down somewhere and put it on my blog to help me.
It obviously helped more than just me if someone in an SEO forum had posted a link to my post to help many others. Your blog should always be a good resource for YOU to come back to since you should be writing things to help you and your audience. News, Tips, etc…that will connect with your audience.
