As online marketers I think all the information we mostly gather is all online, from informational websites or mainly blogs. There are blogs you can read on a daily basis with some great information that you can use such as Search Engine Land, Search Engine Journal, SEOBook, etc.
Many of the people that start in the online marketing biz, or marketing their business, really depend on the information online.
I walked into borders yesterday. I have been an online marketer for many years now and never really saw a use for books (sorry for sounding ignorant) in the sense that I think all the information we need is online, which for the most part, it really is. BUT, you’d be surprise the books that are out there that may not really have the million dollar secret but some really useful information.
I don’t want to say what book I got because this would seem like a promotional post but I got a resource book that I literally think one little piece of information in that book can possibly save my business hundreds to thousands of dollars a year because of an idea this book has sparked.
You can say the same thing for information online but my point is, don’t discard books.

They say you’re a combination of the people you spend time with, so if you only spend time with people who are satisfied with their lives, working from morning to evening on a factory this method is great to come in contact with new people.
