The First Face of Facebook – The First Facebook Ever (Pic)

In honor of their 10th birthdate, Google brought back the oldest index they can find which was Google 2001, in Jan. So, what didnt exist in 2001? Well…many things didnt exist in 2001…such as social media websites like Myspace, Digg, Youtube, etc. How about Facebook?
I did a search of Facebook and it showed results of a site that is a “Facebook” for Hardvard University. Now, the “founder” of Facebook (I put founder with quotes because there is still debate about who came up with it) is from Harvard University, Mark Zuckerberg, and it would make sense that this is the first facebook that ever existed and where Facebook originated from. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling I’m on the right track.

It may still be an active Facebook that has nothing to do with the actual Facebook but it seems it just may be it.

-Mark Zuckerberg founded “The Facebook”, originally located at thefacebook.com, on February 4, 2004 while attending Harvard University as a sophomore.
-The company dropped The from its name after purchasing the domain name facebook.com in 2005 for $200,000.
-Membership was initially restricted to students of Harvard College, and within the first month, more than half the undergraduate population at Harvard were registered on the service.
