Project Monetizing Site with Google Adsense & Kontera: Update Part I

On August 25, 2008, I wrote a blog post titled, “Project Monetizing Site with Google Adsense & Kontera,” which was done for the purpose of experimenting with creating a website without A SINGLE strategy or tactic implied for the search engines or anyone to find it (link building, etc.)
Since then, I’ve probably added about 4-8 URLs to the website because the goal of this for me (with the LITTLE time I put into it, less than an hour a month) is to create thousands of pages of content to continually make it rank in the search engines for the long-tail keywords and monetize it. I’ve only used Google Adsense and Konetra to monetize it.
I’ve used two different blocks of adsense. The 250×250 block of ads (using blue color links) and also the horizontal half banner using black links (may change to blue on new ones). You can see the post titled, “Best Performing Adsense Ads Explained” for more information on converting adsense ads and understanding their payouts.
Here are the results this month (this is from Sept. 1 - Sept. 25, 2008):

Google Adsense: $17.95
Kontera Ads: $1.02
Total: $18.97
Last month’s (Aug. 1-25th) total revenue was $14.15, an increase of $4.82, which you have to look at the big picture in growth PERCENTAGE WISE, the sites revenue increased by 34% in a month!
Now, the site like I stated in my previous post has about 25-50 URLS, I couldn’t tell you exactly. Imagine when I get this site to have 10,000+ URLS. What do you think I’ll be earning from this site alone which takes no time except when I’m making new urls (post)? It can literally turn to thousands of dollars monthly.

I really enjoy these post and find it great you will keep updating the progress of this website. A 34% increase over a months time is a GREAT increase. Keep it up and like you said, the small monetary value can become very big within years if you keep it up.
