SearchMe.com - Innovation in a Search Engine

As the search engine wars continue between the big three, Google, Yahoo and MSN, there are still little guys trying to make their way into the search market. [let's not forget Ask] The latest search engine to have some buzz was Cuil which got some press but really, are you searching on Cuil?
A new search engine called SearchMe, is on the rise and I think it is the most innovative search engine to come out since…well the traditional search engines. It’s not new and I may be a little late blogging about it but it hasn’t gotten the popularity that you would think as something as innovative as this to search.
How will SearchMe.com monetize its search engine? How about paid ads that show you where you’re clicking as the natural search results? How cool would that be?
SearchMe’s home page features the latest or most popular searches which is usually right on the money. It also has search capabilities for video and images. The images and video search are very cool as you can just as you would be searching for a website.
As SearchMe evovles, I think it is heading in the right direction where everyone who I’ve showed it to so far has shown great interest in searching that way and gave very positive feedback. We’ll see where it goes from here.

I really like this search engine! It is new and fresh and its so different than all the others like you said. I may use it for certain things.
