How Much Is Google.com Really Worth?
Written by Pablo Palatnik on July 2, 2007
Ever really wondered how much Google.com (The Domain) is really worth? I don’t think it’ll be sold any time soon (HA), but just for kicks, let’s look at some of its factors that would give the domain a dollar amount.
Creation Date: September 15, 1997
Domain Age: 9 Years, 9 Months, 7 days..
Inbound Links: 45,433,410
PageRank: 10
Indexed Pages for www.google.com
Google: 6,900,000
MSN Search: 3,662,991
Yahoo!: 22,231,309
AlltheWeb: 14,800,000
AltaVista: 15,800,000
The estimated value of Google.com is: $1,459,760,000. This estimated value is JUST for the DOMAIN…not the search engine! How did I come up with this number? I didnt. It is an estimated value by a domain appraisal company (Dnscoop).

HI Pablo!
We had some fun with domain appraisal companies too here. Leapfish is obviously way off….but, I’d like to believe nameboy is much closer. Which one did you use?

This was actually from dnscoop. Domain names are becoming very interesting commodities and deff worthwhile investments. I plan on Buying Google.com in the next 2-3 years =).
