MySpace Going Strong in 07’

Myspace

The Google of Social Media is here. Myspace keep’s it’s strong market share while maintaing new and fresh ideas to its plans in 2007.

Facebook is slowly growing and becoming more identifiable as the network for college students and grads while friendster is drowing at sea with very little promise for the future.

Myspace is making big plans for the future and is gearing more towards the Video/TV sector online. Soon I believe Myspace will be a site we go where we will have different channels to choose from to watch (mini series, cartoons, sports, etc..) as well as I see that as the future for YouTube.

Myspace current deals include:
*Sony minisodes exclusively on Myspace.
*Rip Curl exclusive deal on their clips from show action board sports arena.

Myspace News was also a big move in 07’ but will struggle with Digg being the leader in Social Bookmarking as well as Stumble making big noise in that area.

While everyone talks about Google’s current and old purchase of YouTube, you have to wonder who made the best deal..Fox bought Myspace for $600+mil…GOOD MOVE….YEAH. Especially after aquiring the deal with Google Adsense for $900Mil after the aquisition.

Share and Enjoy:
  • Digg
  • Sphinn
  • del.icio.us
  • Facebook
  • Mixx
  • Google

I think you are right, Myspace has a clear path to dominate that space of social media.
